Rebuilt score history
Past weeks recomputed from dated data, dotted on the curve

Why rebuild
Kaiku records an SEO score and a GEO score every week. For a new project, that would mean waiting weeks before having a curve. Kaiku therefore rebuilds past weeks from data that carries a date: Search Console and Google Analytics archives, rankings, AI Overview readings and scans already run. This happens automatically when the project is created and after each history import, with no paid call.
How it is calculated
- Same calculation as the week's score, over the period ending on the Sunday of each past week, with the data as it was on that date.
- A component without dated history for that week is “not measured” in the rebuilt week, never guessed.
- The keyword list is today's: a rebuilt week says where you stood on your current keywords.
- A recorded week always wins: a week that already has its recorded score is never replaced by a rebuilt one.
- The current weights apply to the whole curve, so that weeks stay comparable with one another.
- The calculation goes back as far as dated data allows, within a limit of several months, and stops when no data exists any more.
How to read it
On the Home Scores over time curve, a rebuilt week has a hollow point, and the segments touching it are dotted; its tooltip says “Rebuilt from dated data”. Recorded weeks keep a solid line and a solid point.
