  1. Algorithm & scoresHighlightNew

Scores anchored in your real data, that explain themselves

The GEO score rests on two families of measures: real data from your accounts (Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Bing) and Kaiku checks of AI answers. A piece of real data counts more when it is complete and recent.

    • Visits from AI assistants: a result measure enters the GEO score; without Google Analytics it is “not measured”, never a zero.
    • Site health: the technical, authority, external presence, local and crawler access indices explain the scores without entering them, and feed the “Why” line.
    • Google indexing: Kaiku checks that Google has indexed your important pages; the technical index takes it into account, the SEO score does not.
    • Weighting adjusted to your site: in small steps, with safeguards and automatic rollback, once the project owner agrees.
    • Rebuilt history: a new project gets its curve from day one, past weeks drawn dotted.
  2. Algorithm & scoresPrivacyHighlightNew

No Google data sent to an AI in automatic analyses

Search Console, Google Analytics and Google listing analyses are now computed by Kaiku's servers, without AI. Only the action you launch on a specific item, such as a draft reply to a review, goes through an AI.

    • The tab is called “Analysis”: computed in a few seconds, free of charge, kept as before.
    • The October 21 privacy policy describes it, and your explicit consent is asked before any new use of your Google data.
  3. GEONew

Crawler visits: who reads your pages, and what comes of it

If your site runs through Cloudflare, Kaiku shows which AI and search engine crawlers read your pages, with what response, and cross-checks these visits with AI citations.

    • Diagnostics: blocked or failing crawlers, pages read but never cited, important pages never visited.
    • A read-only Cloudflare token is enough; Kaiku keeps the history beyond what Cloudflare retains.
  4. Algorithm & scoresNew

GEO score checked calculation by calculation, same figures everywhere

An audit of the GEO score fixed its calculation gaps. An indicator now has a single calculation, the same period and the same figure on every page, in reports and in the weekly email.

    • An answer with an error counts nowhere, and a failed request is never a zero.
    • Since October 11, an engine down at scan time makes the reading partial: the score keeps the last complete reading and says so.
    • A label next to key figures says where they come from: your real data, the Kaiku scan or an external check.
  5. Algorithm & scoresHighlightNew

Who is named before you in AI answers

Since the October 8 scan, Kaiku records the order in which your brand and your competitors are named in each answer. This rank feeds the GEO score and shows up where you need it.

    • SEO × GEO matrix: your place for each keyword and each engine.
    • AI answers: the citation order of each answer, with your brand highlighted.
    • Actions: the “Rank against a competitor” source suggests what to do about the largest gaps.
  6. ActionsNew

    Actions: measure, act, prove

All your actions, wherever they come from, go into a single log. When marked “published”, the targeted measure is frozen; at the next scan it is read again and the action becomes “measured”.

    • The action of the week shows at the top of the home page.
    • From October 11, “How to fix it”: a step-by-step guide for each action, with the Kaiku tools that do the work.
  7. Algorithm & scoresHighlightNew

Two separate scores: SEO score and GEO score

The home page shows two web visibility scores, never combined: what classic search shows of you, and what AI answer engines show of you. A missing source is “not measured”, never a zero.

    • “Where the score comes from” lists each measure, and what to do to measure the missing ones.
    • “What moved the score” tells a real change apart from a change in scope.
    • A level in words comes with each score, from “barely visible” to “dominant”.
    • New measure: your mentions in AI answers across your whole market, beyond your tracked keywords.
  8. Platform

    PivotSEO is now Kaiku

Same platform, same team, same real data, under a name that says what we measure: your brand's echo across Google and AI answers. Your projects, access and pricing stay the same.

    • New address, kaiku.ca, with redirects from the old one.
    • Self-serve sign-up: an account is created from the site, no invitation needed.

September 2026

8 milestones

This month in detail (help center) — September 2026
  1. Platform

A period bar to compare every page with the past

Pick a period and compare it with the previous one, with last year or with specific dates, on every screen. All readings are now kept: comparisons get richer over time.

  2. GEO

Brand monitoring, with proof of identity

You declare the expressions that identify you (legal name, products, spokespeople); Kaiku scans the press and the web every Sunday and separates your coverage from your namesakes'.

August 2026

8 milestones

This month in detail (help center) — August 2026
  1. GEO

A missed Sunday scan is caught up

If the automatic scan fails or doesn't run, Kaiku detects it, keeps the cause and runs it again: your weekly tracking doesn't skip a week.

  2. Platform

Kaiku on your phone, installable on the home screen

Pages adapt to small screens (scrolling tables, adjusted filters and charts), and the application installs like an app from the browser.

  3. SEO

    App Stores: your app's visibility

A module tracks your app's listing on the App Store and Google Play: rankings on your keywords, competitors, reviews and a listing audit, across several countries and languages.

  4. Platform

Pages that open fast all week

Data collected at the Sunday scan stays ready to use until the next reading: the home page and heavy pages display without waiting for new calls.

July 2026

8 milestones

This month in detail (help center) — July 2026
  1. SEO

SEO drift, SERP clustering and SXO analysis

Kaiku keeps a snapshot of your pages' SEO elements and flags what changed, groups your keywords by Google's actual results, and spots pages whose format doesn't match what Google shows.

  2. Platform

An interface fully in French and English

Menus, pages, recommendations and server-written texts exist in both languages; each person picks their own.

  3. Reports

Reports that read like a deliverable

The custom report gains new sections, reusable selection templates (monthly report, initial audit) and a layout designed to be handed over as is.

  4. Platform

Working on a project as a team

You share a project with colleagues or clients, each with their own role, and everyone's permissions apply across the whole application.

  5. SEO

Cannibalization: fixes that keep your content

When two pages compete for the same query, Kaiku suggests a plan that keeps your content: a pillar page, satellite pages and a target query for each, rather than a deletion.
